MARY PICKFORD PEEPLOW PLATES Item #: MarPic215 This beautiful set of plates were owned by Mary Pickford and used at Pickfair. The set consists of 2 plates and a matching cup. The dish's are round and measure 7 3/4 inches and the smaller on e is 6 inches. The cup measures 3 1/4 inches in height. Hand painted with an exquisite floral motif in shades of yellow, green and purple. The edge of the set is trimmed in gold and light purple. Stamped on the bottom with: "PEPLOW" Rd No 568948". Manufactured for Harrods Limited Brompton Road London Spode Copelands China England. Purchased from "The Pickford Estate Auction" held November 22 2008. This was part of lot # 475 and is pictured in the catalog. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from this seller and a copy of the auction invoice. In very good condition with minor wear due to usage and a minor crack in the cup. $175.00
